CORRELIMOS TRIDÁCTILO (II)

Paseando por la playa me
encontré con esta pareja de correlimos tridáctilos alimentándose a la orilla de
las olas. Estaban tan cerca, tan a tiro de foto.
No llevaba la cámara
conmigo, así que decidí ir a buscarla, volver y probar suerte.
Y este es el resultado.
Aquí podemos verlos todavía
con su plumaje de verano. En esta época el color del plumaje es un poco más
intenso.
Este año el otoño se adelantó
y ellos también.
Bajan de la tundra norte para
pasar el otoño y el invierno en el sur de Europa donde el clima es más cálido.
Dentro del grupo de las
aves limícolas, el correlimos tridáctilo pertenece a al orden de los charadriiformes, familia de los scolopacidae y a la especie de los calidris alba.

Walking through the beach I
found this couple of sanderlings feeding on the edge of the vawes.
They were so close to take
a photo...
I haven’t got the camera
with me, so I decided to go home to take it, to go back and try my luck.
And this is the result.
Here we can see them with
their summer plumage. In this season their feathers colour is a little bit deeper.
This year the autumn came
earlier and so they did.
They come down from the
northern tundra to stay in the south of Europe in autumn and Winter, because
here the weather is warmer.
Within the group of silty
birds, sanderlings belong to the order of charadriiformes,
family of scolopacidae, species of calidris alba.
